Unbeknownst to them, a wolf was silently watching. When mom leaves to visit grandmother, she reminds the girls to “Be good and shut those doors tight”. Summary: Once upon a time, three girls and their mother lived in a cottage away from others. ![]() Third, the story’s powerful illustrations showcasing the capability of children.Īnnotation: A hungry wolf is lurking at the door while their mother was away – will the three sisters be able to save themselves for a ravenous beast? Second, I love fairytales and this retelling of Red Hiding Hood fits that criteria.
